The fifth annual Sperm Festival is back next month! This art and music event brings together some of the big names and lesser known talents from around the world. Headlining this year’s event is the ever wonderful Architecture in Helsinki. But my personal favorite artist from the line up is the Polish rap/post-rock/glitch band Napszyklat. Don’t miss out on them!

What do you get when you cross the cerebral sounds of experimental electronic music with pure unadulterated sex? Jimmy Edgar. I new door of previously unknown pleasures opened up when I heard “I Wanna Be Your STD” back in 2006 and I’ve been following his work ever since. And I’ve been lucky enough to hear bits of Jimmy Edgar’s new album XXX, slated for release July 26th. The amount of funk exuded by “Physical Motion” is a little much. I heard it while on the streets of Manhattan and I began strutting my shit uncontrollably. Be forewarned.

Robot Koch, the super talented Berlin local will blessing our ears at this year’s Sperm Festival. Yeah, the event is back and better than ever. This is one show not to miss if you’re in Prague this weekend, the 23rd to 25th of April.
