“You didn’t know, that the apocalypse was here? We’re gonna die.”
Gruzo’s back with four new tracks off his new EP Peace is for Glitches. The tracks are composed of glitchy beats, wonky vibes, synths, drum and bass, trip hop, slow motion sequences, and more. These experimental, out-of-this-world tunes make you feel like you’re in an inter-galactic war full of flying space rocks and sporadic light bursts. You can even hear the lasers blasting in the distance. The first three tracks play on each other, each referencing “Peace is for Bitches,” while the last track is an exclusive remix by Ower.
You’ll love this is if you also like: Pretty Lights, DVS, Daft Punk’s TRON

Wondering what to do this weekend? Well, look no further. Glitch’s very own Gruzo will be spinning at Jo’s Bar this friday night. Although originally a birthday party, everyone is now welcome. He’ll be playing a funky/glitchy set and two other DJs will be performing as well–Push Pop (weird pop) and Fénix (rock’n'roll). And best of all, it’s free!
For more information, here’s the Facebook Event.
Tomorrow night, Chapeau Rouge will be hosting a Jay Dee tribute show with DJs Pufaz and PecaOne. Appropriately on February 7th, Dilla’s birthday, Chapeau Rouge will feature a night full of Dilla’s many hits and tracks. J. Dilla is easily one of the most influential names in hip hop. The American producer from Detroit has worked with an endless number of incredible hip hop acts such as A Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes, Common, De La Soul, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Madlib, and so much more. Need I say more?
Chapeau Rouge will also feature a Beat Battle between Gruzo, Inphy, FNTM, and Dubas. All four DJs will play a short set, remix of a certain song, and then an exclusive beat based on a sample they have been given. Sound interesting enough? For more info check out the Facebook event page.
The party starts at 9pm and costs 80 kc.
