    The international line up will feature UK DJs Kuedo and Slugabed (Ninjatune), Czech and Ukrainian DJs Forma and Valta, and Glitch’s very own Denoir.

    Claviq and Denoir (see photo), members of the Glitch.CZ crew, are driving around Prague on top of this baby. They’ve got Frances Sanders and Dima Berzon in the backseat creating live art to be projected on buildings around the city. Take a peak at a video sample of their art below. You can also see their visual art alongside Teebs’ peformance at the Lunchmeat Festival this weekend.

    Čas přerodu se nachyluje, starý svět je v rozkladu a z nediferencované hmoty vzlínají jinozemské obrysy dalšího pokračování 142bpm session. Tentokrát 4D: brutálně křehká Deus Ex Machina, futuristicky syntetický Denoir, horkokrevný krotitel lvů a legendární zloděj pomerančů DSCDRMR, samozvaný bojovník za práva zeleniny a citlivý terapeut zvukových ploch Don Pedropoulos, jimž budou asistovat pomocný duch ze dna říčních koryt Mokele Mbembe a srdcová královna magentových sfér, Falujah.     Takže poslúchajte, konečně jsme dospěli. Je nám osmnáct a celý Mír bude patřit nám. A kdy jindy než v sobotu osmnáctého, že? Otevíráme v osm, končíme ráno. Tentokrát za kilo.

    A co jsme pro vás vyňůrali? Hrát se bude v sále i na baru. Djů je sedm, stylů moc. Z Rakouska dorazí už deset let vystupující Miss Shina (takže žádné děcko) spolu s další vídeňskú kocůřicú, která si říká Miss Katinka. Energické cérky přivezou energií překypující mix jungle-wobble, jungledrumteku a breakbeatů. Hrají pestře a to nejenom ony, takže se v sobotu můžete těšit i na další hudební žánry jako např. dubstep, UK funky, house, tropical bass, balkan, nu-folklor, shangaan, funana, mambo de calle, skwee, wonky a jiné vykrůcačky. Kromě rakouské dvojky z party Groove Bagasch totiž dorazí i pražský kocúr dj Denoir, vlastní, slováckým folklorem inspirovanou tvorbu představí dj Radar, a o zbytek se postará trojice Dr. Balkan, UŽ AJ a TVP z Bassta Fidli Crew.

    Rozhrkané beaty, ulítlé melodie, zeefktované hitovky a schizofrenní diskotéka, to vše pod jednou střechou!     My vision of Future Garage. Includes: tracks from exciting talents (Bruises, Claviq, Newtown), electronic music geniuses of today (Darkstar, Dorian Concept), IDM classics (Mouse On Mars, Luke Vibert), future garage artists (KingThing, Littlefoot) and other bass music producers (Spatial, Sully, Gremino, C.R.S.T) and an obligatory skweee track by Claws (motherfunkin’) Costeau. Do not hesitate to check out their music; highly recommended

    If anyone’s interested in “Future garage” name overthinking rant, here it is:
    The future is no longer what it used to be. When I first heard future garage I thought – “Where’s the vibe? Why is the production boringly artificial? Why does every tune sound like “properly” produced Burial track?” and most importantly “Where’s the future?” Later on I realised that it actually reflects the future very well – it isn’t nearly as exciting as one would hope (and the name suggests). It aims to develop the garage sound to relative perfection using current production techniques which is fine and I do like some of the tracks (and included a couple in this mix). However, it is not enough for me to be able to accept the adjective “future” in it the genre’s name. New school garage? Ok. To me, the future should be about bombastic visions, teleports, perfect androids, jetpacks and stuff like that. So this mix is a tribute to that old fashioned futurism and expresses my hope for this kind of (distant) future. Enjoy!

    Denoir, Claviq and Noa? will be throwing down some mad Glitch-Hop, Wonky, and Skweee for the opening night of the Bassta Fidli Nights Festival. Please join us at the Glitch.CZ party on the 23rd of July from 11 PM.

    The other nights of the festival are not to be missed either! There will be every electronic dance genre under the moon including Electro, Dubstep, Afrobeat, Mashup, Dub, Jungle, Breaks… I can’t even name them all.
