First up we got JAZZ:PA, a DJ and promoter from Nuremberg. He’s bringing the glitchy bassy thing to the German club scene. It’s nice to hear this music is being spread across Europe. His latest set ‘a study of the structure of subjective experience’ is proper.
Next up we got Mike.H, an old Czech friend carrying the bass music spirit. His fresh set ‘all the fish’ is available on soundcloud right now. Head over to his page for a complete track-list.
This mix is for the Outlook Festival mix competition features some of my favorite tunes at around 140 bpm and reflects the diversity of my tastes. Spacey electro, syncopated broken beats, funky analogue synths, stripped down grimey rhythms and even a couple of jungle/hardcore tracks.

This set was recommended to me and with good reason. I’m a big fan of varying a whole ton of genres in a mix and this hits the spot. A beautiful listen.
Forma writes: This is Forman’s very first mixtape of 2011. It was supposed to be a New Year’s holiday mix with a selection of tracks that my friends enjoy. A few artists featured include: Flying Lotus, Daedelus, Robot Koch, and Koan Sound. Pretty nice electronica mixed with indie and jazz sounds to make your day in two zero one one.
Specializing in bouncing bass, sideways beats and experiments of noise, Sugarpill is a master of both the creation and delivery of polytemponic glitch. His original tracks combined with explosive live DJ sets confirm for the producer a powerful spot at the forefront of West Coast future sound. Sugarpill’s debut release Flow Goggles currently sits in the Top 20 downloads on Addictech for 2010. Sugarpill is also a host of a monthly radio show: the PolyBeat Plant on www.Glitch.fm.

This mini-mix by Billy Blacklight aka Profresher is so aqua, I can hear the ocean when I put it up against my ear. Seriously, it reminds me of a glitched out version of the water levels from Sonic the Hedgehog.
The Atlantis EP was released last week and is available for download at BillyBlackLight.
