What the fuck does that mean? Glitch.CZ affiliated DJ and producer Wizual will be performing his collaboration Laboratory of Darkness at the venue ’2nd Floor’ in Prague. Luke Tomski, artist and co-collaborator in the Laboratory of Darkness will be unveiling his new bottle design for the Czech alcoholic drink Becherovka. Those who have tried it, will know its glory.

Vice Czech Republic is making this happen, so crawl out of your hidey-hole and get yourself to the party. Expect good music, mind-bending visuals, and lots of Becher. It all starts at 9 PM. Check out the Facebook Event.

First up we got JAZZ:PA, a DJ and promoter from Nuremberg. He’s bringing the glitchy bassy thing to the German club scene. It’s nice to hear this music is being spread across Europe. His latest set ‘a study of the structure of subjective experience’ is proper.

Když někoho do Ninja Tune přivede věhlasný producent Amon Tobin, stojí za to sledovat jeho práci. A pokud o někom poté Tobin prohlásí, že je to nejlepší, co v posledních letech slyšel, je jasné, že ten producent má budoucnost poměrně jasně narýsovanou.

Přesně to se stalo Brendanovi Angelidesovi, který si říká Eskmo. Stačí se podívat do jeho nabitého diáře, kde je v půlce června i pražská premiéra! Rodák z Connecticutu na severovýchodě USA se k londýnským ninjům dostal přes Warp Records a vlastní značku Eskmo Recordings loni v červenci. Za pár měsíců už poslal do světa první velké album nazvané podle jeho přezdívky a veleúspěšného singlu „Cloudlight“… O promotion se zasloužil právě Amon Tobin, s kterým předtím vydal několik povedených skladeb v producentském duu Eskamon.

The Finnish Label Harmönia will be celebrating its fifth year of existence in Prague! Performances will include Randy Barracuda, Mesak, and Claws Costeau. We’ve also got Denoir and tvprodukt representing the Glitch.CZ crew!

Poté, co si v únoru severští skweee-kmotři na pár hodin podmanili Prahu, už 27.5. k nám vysílají další speciální komando, tentokrát pod záminkou oslavy narozenin hudebního labelu a titulu z hokejového MS. Finský útok Häkkinen – Metsätähti – Hänninen alias funkster Randy Barracuda, master Mesak a gangster Claws Costeau se sem vydává dokončit svojí podvratnou misi, kterou započali před pěti lety, během nichž do světa pod značkou Harmönia vypustili řadu konspiračních singlů, alb i kompilací, přičemž si časem dokázali vybudovat mezinárodní síť kolaborantů. Pokud se chcete přesvědčit, nakolik je tohle všechno jenom iluze, přijďte v pátek do Bubenské 1, kde jmenovaní rozezní svůj analogový arsenál. V průběhu večera jim budou krýt záda přisluhovači s krycími jmény Denoir, Noa?, tvprodukt, Gruzo a Snowlion. Vizuálně podpoří Lunchmeat Lab-o-ratives..

Claviq and Denoir (see photo), members of the Glitch.CZ crew, are driving around Prague on top of this baby. They’ve got Frances Sanders and Dima Berzon in the backseat creating live art to be projected on buildings around the city. Take a peak at a video sample of their art below. You can also see their visual art alongside Teebs’ peformance at the Lunchmeat Festival this weekend.
