Shankles’ long awaited Gully Foil EP is finally here via Jus Like Music Records, featuring seven ethereal electronic creations, including a remix from S.maharba (BTS Radio, Ocular Science, Error Broadcast) who also mastered the entire EP.
Influenced by the likes of Four Tet, Clark, Nostalgia 77, Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and Alex B, the Gully Foil EP is a deep and twisted record, playing on beautiful melodies and bass-ridden breaks.
Claviq and Denoir (see photo), members of the Glitch.CZ crew, are driving around Prague on top of this baby. They’ve got Frances Sanders and Dima Berzon in the backseat creating live art to be projected on buildings around the city. Take a peak at a video sample of their art below. The fifth annual Sperm Festival is back next month! This art and music event brings together some of the big names and lesser known talents from around the world. Headlining this year’s event is the ever wonderful Architecture in Helsinki. But my personal favorite artist from the line up is the Polish rap/post-rock/glitch band Napszyklat. Don’t miss out on them!

Godfather’s of Skweee was a success! And the video above was born from this monster of a party. You’ve got to admit that the scenic views of Prague at night are stunning. I’ve been told that the decision to shoot this was spontaneous and took place 30 minutes before the party started. Good call!
